Prior to ExchangiFi, Matthew founded Valley Cove Capital, a search fund focused on small business acquisitions. He launched multiple successful tech ventures, including Sense Relief, Credible, and consumer healthcare company The Quit Company, which he sold in 2019. Matthew began his career in finance and asset management at MDRxFinancial and W.P. Stewart. Based in West Palm Beach, he holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA in economics and mathematics from Colby College, and serves as President of the Yale Club of the Palm Beaches.
Ricardo is CEO and co-founder of Alternova Inc., a software development firm with more than 100 engineers building compliant technology for the fintech and digital health industries. A recognized leader in business strategy and rapid prototyping, he advises ExchangiFi on technical scalability and product development. His background includes managing data science and predictive modeling projects at Synapsis Research and leading software teams across the US, Europe, and Latin America. He holds a degree in management engineering from the Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia.
Juan is a software engineering leader specializing in scalable backend architecture and cloud infrastructure. As an engineering manager and Python specialist at Alternova Inc., he has led the development of complex digital products across Django, AWS, and system optimization. His background includes full-stack development and the creation of open-source libraries such as Notihub. He holds a degree in computer software engineering from Universidad Surcolombiana and oversees the technical roadmap and platform stability for ExchangiFi.
Thomas drives strategic partnerships and platform growth across the wealth management ecosystem. He brings experience spanning investment analysis, wealth advisory, and business operations, with prior roles at Prosperity Venture Partners, CapInsights Partners, and Zermatt Wealth Partners. A graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in entrepreneurship, Thomas combines an analytical foundation with a service-driven approach to building relationships and creating opportunity.

Tommy Mayes
Board Member & Advisor
Tommy is a family office chair at TIGER 21. With more than three decades of experience as an advisor, operator, and investor, he also serves as a general partner at Blueprint Investment Partners and leads the single-family office holdco Prosperity Venture Partners. He specializes in family office governance, structural complexity, and multi-generational wealth stewardship, guiding legacy-minded families and businesses through periods of transformation and transition. He serves as an independent director and strategic advisor across multiple corporate boards and is based in Orlando, Florida.
Jim is an entrepreneur and investor with a deep background in wealth and asset management. He began his career on the trading floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and later held senior leadership roles at Thomson Reuters in both the United States and the United Kingdom. He went on to found a prominent alternatives investment platform and now invests in wealth management businesses through Entwood Holdings. His expertise spans alternative investments, financial technology, and strategic partnership development. Jim holds a BA from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Rick is chairman and CEO of Silvercrest Asset Management. He joined Silvercrest in 2003, has served on the firm's executive committee since 2007, and was president and COO from 2010 to 2013. He is a former member of the board of governors and executive committee of the Investment Adviser Association, and serves as board chairman of the Institute for Family Studies and The National Civic Art Society. He also serves on the boards of the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation, New York Men's Leadership Forum, and Christendom College, and the advisory board of The New Criterion. He received a BA in politics and philosophy from Princeton University.
Yang is CEO and a co-founder of Arch Analytics and Arch Indices. He spent over a decade in macro solutions, structuring, and sales roles at Morgan Stanley, Citi, Deutsche Bank, and Crédit Agricole CIB, working with banks, insurers, and asset managers globally on solutions across asset classes for asset liability, yield enhancement, capital, and tactical opportunities. Those structured solutions combined machine learning and derivative replication with practitioner knowledge of financial markets. Yang earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in economics from Purdue University.
Seth is a seasoned investment consultant and product strategist specializing in go-to-market execution and competitive intelligence for the wealth management industry. With expertise spanning asset managers, TAMPs, RIAs, broker-dealers, custodians, private banks, and family offices, he brings a full-spectrum view of the buy and sell side to every engagement. Seth advises firms on product strategy, platform development, and technology roadmaps, and is known for building the gatekeeper and distribution relationships that drive real commercial outcomes.
Patrick is a senior financial services executive with deep expertise in ETF strategy, product development, and intermediary distribution. He advises asset managers on aligning investment offerings with the needs of institutional investors, family offices, and RIAs, bringing a sharp commercial lens to product positioning and channel strategy. He adds a governance dimension through board experience with mutual funds and private companies, and operates across both US and European markets.
Len is a chief operating officer and enterprise operator with more than 25 years of experience across asset management, fintech, banking, and SaaS. He has led client, service, operations, and platform organizations through startup, growth, IPO, and mature enterprise stages, partnering closely with founders, boards, and executive teams through periods of scale and transformation. Len advises ExchangiFi on operating discipline, client trust, and the systems needed to turn a growing platform into a durable enterprise.
Kate is the CEO and Founder of Ascent Governance & Advisory. She brings extensive financial services domain knowledge and direct board-level fluency to product, services, and platform design, regulatory navigation, and technology integration. Kate's experience includes working with retail and institutional advisers, funds, ETFs, broker-dealers, fund administrators, recordkeepers, and wealth management platforms. Prior to founding Ascent, she spent over 25 years in senior roles within major financial services institutions, including serving as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for investment advisers and fund companies. Earlier in her career Kate was a 1940 Act fund lawyer at an Am Law 50 firm. Kate earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Nicholas is president of ETF Capital Markets Advisors LLC and a veteran of market making and capital markets with more than 25 years of experience. Having held leadership roles at Susquehanna, Goldman Sachs, VanEck, and GQG Partners, he brings comprehensive expertise across both asset manager and broker-dealer trading ecosystems. Today he advises issuers on complex market structure issues, contributes regularly to ETF Central, and leverages his global perspective for strategic board roles.
